Hollywood is hot for new thriller ‘Grist Mill Road’
Screenwriters and producers are circling a hot new thriller “Grist Mill Road,” we hear.
The book by Christopher J. Yates was plugged by EW, Kyle MacLachlan and Krysten Ritter even before it was even released on Tuesday. “Jessica Jones” star Ritter called it “dark, intense and disturbing . . . Begins with a shock and keeps the suspense burning page after page.” And MacLachlan recommended the book on Instagram and Twitter from the Golden Globes.
Insiders now say several Hollywood honchos have been aiming to turn the book, out from Picador and repped by ICM, into a feature film or TV series.
